ace trans plural therian techie
she/her or they/them
Hey there! My name's Kit. I'm a raccoon/fennec fox hybrid, and a member of a plural system in its twenties. I used to go by the name Tenna Lotor, but let's just say there's a certain blorbo that's got priority on that first name now ^^"
I am constantly changing and learning new things about myself, and often explore topics that help me further my understanding of myself and learn who I am and who I'm not. This does mean my identity's a bit in flux as I experiment with and try new things.
Outside of fun and confusing identity stuff, I also like to do a lot of stuff with computers. My claim to fame years ago was running web server software on a hacked Nintendo Switch and hosting that off of my network for a while. Currently, I run a pawful of little services for myself and friends, and one or two services which serve a wider number of folks (Please TF Me being the biggest.)
As far as my beliefs go: I believe that people should be able to freely express who and what they are, as esoteric and "different" as that may be. I believe in the definition of "freedom of speech" where the government can't punish you for simply saying something that it doesn't like - but I as an individual shouldn't have to put up with a hateful butthead. I also believe that when I purchase an electronic device from the store, I should be allowed to do whatever I want with it, as long as that purpose doesn't cause actual harm to other living people.
Excellent question! Each word is important in understanding my identity. Let's break down each segment.
Ace: I completely lack any sexual attraction or interest whatsoever. It's not that I haven't found the "right person" or something, I mean this is an emotion which I quite literally don't have and don't understand, to the point where I've embarrassed myself trying to guess at it.
Trans: I don't believe my gender neatly fits into that which I was assigned. If you held me at gunpoint and asked me to pick a gender, I'd cry and wonder why you're being so mean, but I'd ultimately blurt out "female." I think it's more complicated than that for myself, though.
Plural: In a nutshell, there are multiple entities which exist independently from me in this brain of ours. We all have our own distinct trains of thought and share control over a single body. There's likely better resources out there for understanding this further, though - I suggest doing some research and checking out places like morethanone.info if you want to know more.
Therian: I don't believe I'm human at my core. That is to say - I understand that I exist and interact with the universe with a human body, but I don't think I, the critter piloting this meat puppet, am actually human. Again, there's probably better resources online that do this term justice.
Techie: I like computers. Probably the most esoteric label out of all of these.
There's a few places! This section, just like the rest of this page and site, will be evolving over time - especially since my identity is undergoing a bit of a major change with multiple events radically altering who I am and what that means.
